Often cited as a viable free to play alternative to Monster Hunter World, Dauntless is a little different in terms of the look and feel of combat. There’s a good amount of stuff to do and upgrades to unlock, not to mention some interesting weapons like the War Pike and Chain Blades. The tracking mechanics are incredibly streamlined though and combat is way more straightforward but the aesthetics and core gameplay loop still make Dauntless worth checking out.
