BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM
We know it’s become a cliche at this point, but Rocksteady’s Arkham series really does make you feel like Batman. Stalking in the shadows and picking off your enemies one by one as their absolute terror continues to mount is an excellent feeling, and Arkham Asylum’s tight, suffocating level design acts as the perfect foil for that. And despite being a game that is mostly about stealth, Arkham Asylum also features thrilling, excellent combat. From air ducts to perches, from your gadgets to the way you’re made to use fear as an actual weapon, everything in Arkham Asylum absolutely nails everything a Batman experience should have.
