Visual fidelity
Guerrilla Games are technical wizards. If one was ever to doubt that, then one would only have to see Killzone 2 or 3 on the PlayStation 3, or Killzone: Shadow Fall on the PlayStation 4, to see the kinds of spectacular visual results that they can produce. One would imagine that their trademark visual sheen would be compromised a bit by having a world as vast and open as Horizon’s– one would be wrong, however. In spite of its open world nature, the game, which will be using the same engine that powered Shadow Fall, will have the same trademark visual fidelity that you expect from a Guerrilla Game- it will run in 1080p at a constant 30 frames per second, and unlike Shadow Fall, Horizon will also have vast draw distances- this last quality is perhaps the most important visual aspect in selling the world of the game.
