Obtaining the Wooden Sword in Ninja Gaiden is fairly easy – just buy it from Muramasa’s shop. It’s not very good though, lacking the ability to decapitate, perform Ultimate techniques and much more. Upgrading it seven times hardly seems worth the effort. However, if you manage to tough it out, you get the Unlabored Flawlessness, a weapon that increases your attack damage at lower health up to 200 percent. Granted, there’s an inherent risk involved but those skilled at survival can cheese pretty much any opponent with it.
