4. Hellblade
Ninja Theory gets a lot of hate for making pretty good games. The studio, famous for Heavenly Sword, Enslaved, and DMC, doesn’t seem to let that get to them, though. Their latest project, Hellblade, which is described by the developer as a “triple-A indie game,” looks an awful lot like a spiritual successor to Heavenly Sword, and that’s fine by us. Ninja Theory has a knack for delivering immersive game worlds and compelling characters, and proved that they could put the two together with some pretty great combat design in DMC. If they can put all of those together again, Hellblade will be a heck of a good time.
