15 FPS Gameplay Mechanics That Make No Sense

Amazingly Destructive Guns

There’s nothing quite like wielding a BFG 9000 and mowing down hordes of enemies in your path. The same goes for various rocket launchers seen in Destiny or the rail gun in Halo 5: Guardians. That being said, how is it possible for players to easily wield these? Shouldn’t rocket launchers in Destiny have much more kick? Even for a Spartan in Halo 5, shouldn’t the recoil from a rail gun be enough to separate one’s shoulder? No, we’re not trying to be killjoys – it’s just yet another FPS concept in a long line of the same that doesn’t make sense.
