Even when it released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Grand Theft Auto 5’s water has looked spectacular. The ebb and flow of the waves feel natural; the light reflecting and diffusing through it is similarly comforting. The world underwater may not be as gorgeous as more recent open world titles but how it plays with the light is still noteworthy to this day.
