L.A. Noire
Rockstar’s games have quite the reputation for long development cycles. More than a few have been troubled including Team Bondi’s L.A. Noire which was in development from 2004 till its release in 2011. Perhaps it was the estimated $50 million budget spurred by the advanced motion capture that led to the memorable facial animations. Regardless, L.A. Noire released but a month later, tales of harsh working conditions, bad management and much more came to light.
