DOOM Eternal
Consider, for a moment, that DOOM (2016) is still an incredible looking game. With DOOM Eternal, id Software ups the ante further, using id Tech 7 and increasing its unique assets by ten times compared to the original. Megatextures are out, the triangle count can be as high as 80 to 90 million in one scene, and systems for occlusion and light culling optimizes it all perfectly. So whether you’re ripping and/or tearing through demons on an older system or pushing the boundaries of Ultra Nightmare, DOOM Eternal looks great.
