Granblue Fantasy Versus
Arc System Works also has its fair share of experience in anime-style fighting games and Granblue Fantasy Versus is its latest stunning achievement, taking the characters of the mobile RPG and fleshing them out in gorgeous detail. Like its previous Unreal Engine-powered titles, characters have the appearance of 2D models and animate accordingly but are actually 3D, which allows for dramatic camera angles during special moments. Special effects and background designs are well done and even if it won’t beat the more realistic-looking fighters out there, the visuals stand well enough on their own.
