The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series of games are considered by fans to be the pinnacle of the survival horror genre, and for good reason. The games feature unforgiving survival mechanics, chilling atmosphere, and the enemies can literally take players by surprise. GSC Game World’s upcoming S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl seems to be building upon this very foundation, all in crisp visual fidelity – courtesy of Unreal Engine 5. Fans will get to explore the Exclusion zone seamlessly and take part in a branching story, fight new Mutants and so much more. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is coming for PC and Xbox consoles on April 28th, 2022.
