Otakemaru – Nioh 2: The First Samurai

Otakemaru capped off Nioh 2’s base story in epic fashion, bringing three phases of true pain and suffering (also swords. Lots of swords). You’d expect him to be just a bit more reserved in The First Samurai DLC, since it’s his past incarnation. But in the first battle itself, Otakemaru is busting out three swords and looking for trouble. Things become even more heated in the second fight when he transforms into Nightmare Bringer, fusing with a Guardian Spirit to gain four legs, a larger presence and much more threatening attacks.
