Respecting Different Views
Maybe Piper thinks being a good citizen means being nosy and annoying to everyone around her. Perhaps Ada shouldn’t feel bad about her caravan being destroyed and not being able to save her friends. That doesn’t mean they’re crazy or terrible people – it just means they carry different views (trust us, you have a lot worse to worry about in Fallout 4). The same goes for Mass Effect – Liara treats her gender as a moot point, Jack believes in emoting through rage and Thane has no hang-ups about dying. Respecting other people’s views can go a long way in both video games and life.
