CD Projekt RED recently announced that a new entry in The Witcher franchise is currently in the works, and that it will mark the start of a new AAA saga that will span yet another trilogy. Internally codenamed Polaris, the game will be built using Unreal Engine 5 instead of the in-house RED Engine – which should probably make for some eye-popping vistas and a much grander sense of scale. Details on the gameplay or even the protagonist are shrouded in mystery at the moment, so we’ll have to wait for some time to get to know what’s in store.
