The Mass Effect trilogy is home to some of the best sci-fi experiences of recent memory, but the once promising franchise unfortunately ended up being put on indefinite hold after Mass Effect Andromeda flopped hard. Thankfully, EA is bringing it back once again with a brand new entry in the works at BioWare. The game is reportedly being built using Unreal Engine 5 instead of the Frostbite Engine which proved to be a big problem for Andromeda, so we can expect development to be much smoother this time around. The project is still in the very early stages of development, so we don’t have much to go on right now – but hopefully, that will change in the near future.
