SNK’s flagship fighting game series made a strong comeback in February with The King of Fighters 15. The variety of combat styles is very strong – in addition to styles like Heidern and Kusanagi, you also have Sambo, karate, kickboxing and much more in addition to the more unorthodox techniques of Meitenkun and Isla. Throw in Shatter Strikes for parrying or knocking enemies away with the right timing, and MAX Mode (Quick) for comboing into other moves, and it offers a strong degree of depth and freedom.
