There’s something about companions in video games that can trigger one’s lust for murder. It’s probably a nuisance if they die in Resident Evil but when it’s a generally useless bumbling moron like Tails in Sonic the Hedgehog, then why not send them off a cliff? It’s all the more hilarious when you consider their atrocious AI, resulting in them dying fairly easily.
