“New beginning. For all of us.” As Mordin Solus faces his demise, loading up the cure for the Genophage, there are a lot of things to keep in mind. This is the end of a beloved character in the series but also redemption for someone who modified the Genophage to keep the Krogan sterilized. Of course, his other words before descending to the top, “Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong” are no less emotional. He really was the very model of a scientist Salarian.
