Server Non-Issues
During a “behind closed doors” demonstration, one of the developers showed how Crackdown 3 multiplayer runs on several different servers. For any standard online game, a single session plays out in a single server to stay stable and balanced. With a leap in tech and hardware, the developers behind this game showed that with the ability to split a single session up amongst several servers can actually stabilize the game much more efficiently.
