2. Xenoblade Chronicles X

Xenoblade Chronicles X has quite the legacy to live up to. The game, created by Monolith Soft, is the next entry in the Xeno series, and a direct sequel to Xenoblade Chronicles. Former entries in the franchise include Xenogears, and the Xenosaga trilogy, and Xenoblade Chronicles X has been confirmed to continue the story of those titles in some way. Like previous entries in the Xeno series, the game emphasizes an involving combat system, a complex story, and giant mechs. Lots of giant mechs. Fans of the Xeno series and fantastic JRPGs in general are in for a treat when this drops next year.
