Undertale – Omega Flowey Ends the Game

You confront Flowey at the end of a Neutral route after defeating Asgore. He’ll proceed to kill Asgore, absorb the six human SOULS and become all-powerful. Suddenly, the game closes. Reopening it will start something called Floweytale and inevitably leads to a battle with Photoshop Flowey aka Omega Flowey who seeks the protagonist’s SOUL. So while the sudden game closure isn’t a “true” ending, it’s definitely freaky (plus the boss fight has the despair-filled “…But nobody came” portion).
