Doki Doki Literature Club – “Normal” Ending
What seems like an innocent anime title about a book club quickly gives way to death and more death. By the end, it’s made clear just what is happening: Monica. She is the Alpha and the Omega, the creator of this universe and all within it, with the sole purpose of getting with you. But what’s most frightening is that when you defeat her and the universe is restored in the Normal ending, Sayori thanks you for getting rid of Monica. She seemingly gains self-awareness, apparently perpetuating the cycle of insanity forevermore. For better or worse, Monica re-emerges to delete everything and end the game.
