There are no happy endings in Corpse Party games. None. Take Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, for example. It has eight chapters with True Ends which usually result in horrendous agony and/or death for different characters. Then there are all the Wrong Ends in each chapter, like Chapter 1 where Naomi – in a bid to save her friend Seiko from being hanged – accidentally slips and pulls her down, killing Seiko in the process. The True End of chapter 8, which is the conclusion, sees Ayumi saved by her sister…only for her sister to explode in a mess of blood. It goes without saying but don’t play this game.
