Hotel 626
It’s hard to really hard to get a bead on Hotel 626, which was playable through one’s browser and subsequently taken down. Players awaken in a hotel room and must escape while all manner of terrifying things happen. A demonic maid is crawling around in the dark and must be photographed as you listen for her footsteps. You need to use your mic to sing a lullaby to a child (and trust us – you better sing). You can even receive a call on your own phone about escaping…only to be told later that you’re still trapped. The game ends with you inside of a car, seemingly ready to drive away, until a deranged man suddenly appears in the rear view mirror.
