AI and Animation Issues
An issue that Elder Scrolls and Fallout games can’t seem to shake in particular is regarding character animation and AI. Remember your companion Dogmeat in Fallout 3? He was so stupidly gungho about combat and died quickly that he was made immortal in Fallout 4 (Broken Steel let you get another dog though which was nice). As for character animation, it wasn’t odd to see NPCs not have any walking animations and their heads suddenly spinning. Yes, it was that bad.
