First Person Perspective

Before Fallout 3 even released, many hardcore players took severe umbrage with the first person perspective. You have to remember that Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics were primarily from the isometric perspective. The shift to a first person shooter perspective was seen as a fundamental shift from Fallout’s identity. Then again, much of the shift didn’t just come from the perspective so that was a neat surprise awaiting fans.
