Generic Quests
Why is Fallout: New Vegas so heavily praised while Fallout 3 is often lambasted? It mostly comes down to the design of quests. While New Vegas does offer more tangible choice, Fallout 3’s quests feel more generic (though there are some cool decisions to be made here and there). Then again, one of the big complaints against New Vegas is how its world isn’t as interesting to explore or full of side attractions like Fallout 3. It’s a matter of preference but we can understand both arguments.
