It probably wouldn’t be all that terrible if Fallout 3 followed the lore from previous games. But why does the Enclave suddenly show up despite their HQ being destroyed in Fallout 2? Why does the FEV strain appear in the Capital Wasteland when it was supposed to be restricted to the West Coast? Supermutants come across as dumb meatheads and the Ghoulification process appears to have changed drastically. We could go on but we’d rather not.
