Not As Complex As Past Games
Maybe it’s the first person perspective or general pacing of the game but Fallout 3 doesn’t feel nearly as complex as the isometric Fallout titles. Perhaps it’s in the general choices you can make, how you customize your character or just how the world reacts to you. But the general complexity, especially in combat, feels extremely streamlined. While this does open up the universe to a wider audience, it does feel kind of stifling at times. At least it wasn’t nearly as dumbed down as Fallout 4.
