“Meh” Story
In Fallout 3, your father suddenly leaves the Vault and you have to pursue him. This begins the plot of finding a water purifier, battling the militaristic Enclave and ultimately saving the entire region. Forget comparing it to other Fallout titles, Fallout 3’s story just feels…tame. There are a few interesting moments but the overall lack of urgency and imagination in plot points, not to mention several plot holes and logical inconsistencies like the entire Megaton quest, hurt the story.
