We got our first real look at South of Midnight gameplay earlier this year, with Microsoft also confirming that the action-adventure title would be releasing at some point in 2025. When in 2025? As it turns out, we might be getting the answer to that question soon enough, and the wait for the game itself might not be that much longer either.
Prominent Xbox leaker extas1s has claimed in a recently uploaded video that South of Midnight is due out in March of 2025, and that the same will be announced at The Game Awards later this week. The leaker states that though Microsoft is going to have relatively fewer things to show at this year’s The Game Awards ceremony, a release date for the Compulsion Games-developed title will be announced. Interestingly, XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker seems to have corroborated the leak on Twitter, pointing to him making similar claims on Discord earlier.
