1. Integrate Flashlights In The Guns

Excuse me, sir? Can I borrow you flashlight?

Seriously. While I do acquiesce to the fact that painful efforts had been put in to make the Doom 3 a great horror game, but not having flashlights integrated in guns?

“Space travel? Oh we mastered that folly a dozen years back. But man, flashlights in guns? What a butt-hurt.”.

And so we could either hope to puncture nefarious demons in the dark with big-ass guns, or wield a torch to see just where those wicked demons and run away or hit them on their heads with our precious flashlights. Small things do matter. On the positive side, it DID manage to scare people a great deal more, so there’s that to their credit.
