Building mechanics in Valheim are one of the game’s best aspects, but as fun as it is to build increasingly impressive bases, it sure would be nice to have the game react to that in certain ways. For example, seeing NPCs move in to the bases and villages you’ve built and populating those areas and living out their lives there would be an excellent way to make players feel like the stuff they’re doing in the game is having a tangible impact on its world. On top of that, it would also encourage players to build multiple bases and settlements throughout the map rather than just sticking with one, which, in turn, would mean that players themselves would constantly be making the game’s world progressively more interesting and lived in.
