SETTING
We know for a fact that Fallout 76 is going to be focusing on Vault 76- that much is very hard to dispute, for obvious reasons. That, however, may also serve as indication for the game’s setting. As per a Valt-Tech terminal in the Citadel in Fallout 3, Vault 76 is located in the “DC Area”. Considering the fact that Fallout 3 itself was already set in Washington D.C., though, we’re assuming that Bethesda won’t be going with the exact same setting again, so Fallout 76 will probably expand the map and cover more areas that fall in the D.C. area, that being Washington D.C. itself, along with neighbouring parts of the states of Virginia and Maryland.
