But of course, none of these things will really matter all that much if the game isn’t all that fun to play, and the fun in an RPG, first and foremost, is derived from questing. Bethesda have had a pretty good track record with quest design in recent years, although some might say Fallout 4 fell short of expectations in the area. Additionally, there’s also the fact that Fallout 76 is going to be an online-centric game (in all likelihood), and as Destiny has shown us, such games don’t always have the best quest design. So we’re really hoping Fallout 76 will break the mould here.
