ACTIVE SWITCH
Sure, you can no longer use assists through your off-screen characters, but the Active Switch mechanic brings them into play in other ways. Players can immediately switch characters in and out whenever they want- even while airborne or in the middle of attacks. This is similar to what we’ve seen in games such as Street Fighter X Tekken and Marvel vs Capcom 3 itself. Hopefully, it should make for faster and more frantic battles.
