And then there are the commanders. The commander system worked extremely well in The New Order, adding an extra layer of challenge to the proceedings, and a layer of strategy to how you approach areas full of enemies led by commanders, and The New Colossus is going to be making improvements to that mechanic. Commanders in the upcoming shooter will now be able to call for reinforcements several times rather than just the once. In addition to that, each of them will also carry enigma codes, so there’s going to be an added bonus for killing them.
