L.A. NOIRE
L.A. Noire felt like one of those games that didn’t really need to be open world. It’s main draw was its story, and really, the open world, more often than not, just got in the way of that, what with not having much interesting stuff on offer anyway. Then there was the fact where it felt like the game would put its main story on hold as it took its sweet time to get to the point, while plenty of the main missions also had the tendency to become a bit too repetitive. All told, the game ended up feeling like it was twice as long as it should have been.
