THE FATE OF ARCADIA BAY (LIFE IS STRANGE)

LIFE IS STRANGE

Life is Strange is a game with a lot of heart, and that comes from two places- it comes from the friendship between Max and Chloe, and it comes from the setting, the quaint and mysterious town of Arcadia Bay, and all the people that live in it. At the end, you’re given a choice- save Chloe, and let the entirety of Arcade Bay and all its people get destroyed by a raging vortex, or save Arcadia Bay, and let Chloe die. It’s a heartbreaking moment, because while it obviously doesn’t make sense to let an entire town get destroyed to save one person’s life, that one person has been your best friend throughout the course of the game.
