THE SPIRIT IN THE TREE (THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT)
Relatively early in The Witcher 3, when players are given the choice of whether or not they will let a spirit trapped inside of a tree, escape, it doesn’t seem like whatever choice you make will have much of an impact on the game’s events. Letting it escape, however, has far-reaching consequences. Not only does doing so have a huge impact on the lives of the villagers of Downwarren, it can also spell doom for the Bloody Baron’s family, and ultimately, for the Bloody Baron himself.
