Outpost Precautions
Say you’ve discovered some rare treasure – or a crate of chickens, whatever floats your boat – and want to trade them at an outpost. Better watch your back – it’s not too uncommon for other players to ambush and rob you near an outpost. Even worse, you can be robbed in the outpost by other players. After all, they can just take your treasure and immediately cash it in at the outpost. Check for ships before dropping anchor and remain vigilant at all times of any ships following you to an outpost.
