TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
Free Radical’s TimeSplitters series has always been underrated. The mix of brilliant story-telling, comedy and stellar action centered on Sergeant Cortez’s escapades through time made for some excellent stories especially in Future Perfect. The game’s multiplayer customization also allowed for all kinds of crazy matches and bots. This was in addition to Arcade Mode, Challenge Mode and even the Mapmaker. TimeSplitters: Future Perfect didn’t receive heaps of sales at the time but was still heavily praised. Unfortunately, its fate was sealed when Free Radical would develop Haze. Following that game’s disastrous response – along with the cancellation of Star Wars Battlefront 3.
