15 Underwhelming Post-Apocalyptic Games

Piranha Bytes’ ELEX was a decent RPG with some interesting concepts, and it seemed that a sequel could surely right those wrongs and turn the tides for this franchise. Sadly, however, Elex 2 is mostly a retread of the first game with a few new bells and whistles. The combat is still janky and grind-heavy, the story is still uninteresting for the most part, and a visible lack of polish smears through every pixel of the game. By all intents and purposes, ELEX 2 is a sequel that can only be recommended to the most devoted fans of the first game.
