Metal Gear Survive
The tale of Metal Gear Solid 5‘s turbulent development is well known at this point, which was followed by Konami and Kojima parting ways. The publisher tried to capitalize on this valuable IP by releasing Metal Gear Survive, a shoddy attempt at morphing this action series into a post-apocalyptic survival game. Unsurprisingly, fan reception to this cash grab of a game was brutal, and even without that backlash – Metal Gear Survive is an underwhelming game at best which can be attributed to its undercooked mechanics and dull gameplay.
