When a game is meant to be part of a larger game and is developed separately before being released in a pre-alpha state, you know there are problems. In fact, despite Stellar Stone being listed as the developer, development was actually handled by a Ukrainian company to offset costs. The engine was also licensed from TS Group Entertainment’s Sergey Titov for a large portion of Stellar Stone, with Titov claiming that the developer couldn’t even foot the bill for its own engine. With a Metacritic score of 8 – yes, 8 out of 100 – the results are plainly visible to everyone.
