Isshin the Sword Saint – Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Honestly, no other fight from last year measures up to Isshin the Sword Saint from Sekiro. The initial fight with Genichiro is a feint as Isshin emerges, at his peak, to challenge the Wolf. What follows is a test of everything the player has learned up till that point from proper parrying and counter-attacking to dodging and spacing. More importantly, it didn’t feel cheap even with the lightning attacks in the third phase and stood out as a true battle between two stellar swordsmen.
