Brutal Legend

Of the many odd titles that Double Fine Productions released, Brutal Legend was arguably one of its oddest, more specifically due to the various development troubles and a lawsuit with former publisher Activision that affected development. Electronic Arts would end up publishing the title in 2009 – it was criticized for its abrupt end but generally reviewed well.

Double Fine began work on a sequel which would have featured a fourth faction and major boss but it was subsequently cancelled by EA (which nearly sank the company).
