The Evil Within 3
It’s no secret that The Evil Within 2 wasn’t a massive commercial success for Bethesda Softworks, though it fared well critically. Before Ghostwire: Tokyo’s release, Tango Gameworks revealed that it was originally planned as The Evil Within 3 before pivoting into something brand new. Given how the second game ended – Sebastian got his happy ending but the STEM system is still very much around – another title, perhaps with a new protagonist, wouldn’t be unwelcome. Besides, if the Silent Hill rumors ever come true and it’s exclusive to PS5 in some way, having its own big-budget horror title wouldn’t be the worst idea for Microsoft.
