Seeing Liu Kang and Raiden merge was pretty cool, especially given their turbulent encounters in the series. You’d kind of expect him to reach Kronika in time and stop her from resetting history. Shock of shocks however, she does just that but if defeated in two straight rounds, you can stop her from resetting too much. This allows for for Liu Kang to reunite with Kitana to hopefully forge a better timeline with less reboots.
