TWISTED METAL
In its earlier years, Twisted Metal was one of Sony’s best and most exciting franchises, but after a while it just fell off. But even though Sony started losing interest in it, the fans definitely didn’t- Twisted Metal is still remembered as one of the best PlayStation franchises of the PS1 and PS2 eras, and even though the series’ attempted reboot on the PS3 wasn’t as successful as many had hoped it would be, hopefully Sony haven’t completely given up on the property. Twisted Metal is unlike anything else in their portfolio, and a game such as this could also easily harbour a healthy online presence- so perhaps this is something that could prove to be very valuable to Sony. Let’s just hope they see it this way as well.
